'The inside is as important as the outside'

Mouvya found out 'how to process information and speak about it to other people', whilst Graham discovered how to summarise lots of research and put it into his own words'. He also interviewed secondary Design teacher Ms Poyee Li asking her whether designing is art? 'She told me yes', he says. 'But Ms Li also said that looking at the inside of a product is as important as looking at the outside of it. In other words, the technique on the inside is as important as how it looks.'

MISO: Media, Interview, Survey, Observation

Thia found out about how fashion makes people feel and started upcycling her old clothes and clothes that she found in a thrift shop. Anastasia looked into drawing as an art form and found out that drawing in her spare time calms her down. Last, but not least, Lucy who researched into writing, looking at different genres and printed materials, discovered that there are 'lots more ways to do research than to just look at the internet'. We used the MISO methode; which stands for; Media, Interview, Survey and Observation.' And may be best thing Lucy discovered is that she 'doesn't just have to write short stories.' She can also try her hand at poetry or think about a career in journalism.
